Hair Perfection Salon

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitative Care

Our skilled nursing and rehabilitative care is usually provided on a short term basis for residents with an acute medical condition (i.e., post-operative care, fractures, stroke, etc.) All care and services provided for these residents are under the direct supervision of their physician. Our skilled services include the following:

* Skilled nursing services: these services may include intravenous therapy, wound care, enteral feeding, injections, diabetic care, and pain management. * Rehabilitative services: these services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy provided by our on-site rehabilitation team.

All residents receive skilled services under guidelines established by Medicare. These services are paid by Medicare, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), and/or private insurance companies. Medicare beneficiaries have a maximum skilled nursing benefit of 100 days. Skilled services may be discontinued when the resident no longer requires the skills of a licensed nurse or therapist or if the resident exhausts the 100-day insurance benefit.

If skilled services are discontinued but it is not appropriate for the resident to return to their prior living environment, Stonebrook will assist with making alternative arrangements.

Long-Term Care

Stonebrook Healthcare Center offers long term care services that address the health, social and personal care needs of persons who are no longer able to care for themselves. We offer a unique quality of care that each of our residents deserve.

We provide 24-hour Skilled Nursing services under the direction of the resident’s physician, individualized care plans developed by multi-disciplinary team, quarterly resident/family care conferences, restorative nursing program to promote self reliance, specialized rehabilitation services, and dietary services meeting the needs of complex diets and providing the most delicious and nutritious cuisine available.

Hair Perfection Salon

The Hair Perfection Salon is a privately owned and operated Hair Salon and Nail Salon, located in the Stonebrook Healthcare Center. We offer services to residents and non-residents of Stonebrook.

To make an appointment:

For Residents:

Fill out a request form located in front of salon. Return the request form to the mailbox or to the salon staff. The staff will book all appointments. The hairdressers will book hair appointments, and the manicurist will book all nail appointments.

(Note: Hair and nail services are NOT covered by medical insurance and are the financial responsibility of the resident or person requesting the service.) Short term residents must pay for service prior to the time of service.

The hair salon is staffed Wednesday through Saturday, by appointment.
